Vintage lever action rifle manufactured circa 1909. Chambered for .25-35 W.C.F. Features 24-1/4" octagonal barrel, full length magazine tube, dovetailed blade front sight, adjustable sporting rear sight, lever safety, walnut forend & straight wristed buttstock with checkered panels, (checkered wood was a available as a special order option on Winchester Model 1894 rifles in 1909) steel crescent buttplate. The left side of the receiver is engraved with the initials "W.A.P." in script in large letters, under it in smaller block letters is the date "Oct. 1, 1915". Bore is fair to good,a little rough, good rifling. Original blued finish on the barrel and magazine is about 70% with edge wear on the barrel edges, handling wear on the tube. Most of the blue remaining on the loading gate, trigger and hammer. Winchester markings are clear, readable, wood is very good, small dents, has been refinished at some point. Action is smooth.
